The Fall - This Nation's Saving GraceRegular price £16.00
The Vat Egg Imposition - Sheriff of NottinghamRegular price £5.00
Formed in Leeds in 2017, The Vat-Egg Imposition are musically indebted to The Fall, Julian Cope and various others of their post-punk ilk, but with a noticeable injection of groove, the lyrical/performance side of the band is more in the surrealistic, comedic vein of Frank Sidebottom, John Shuttleworth, Flight Of The Conchords and John Otway.
‘Sheriff of Nottingham’ is available on all major streaming services from 12th June 2020 and on limited edition apricot cassette, featuring b-side ‘Get My Green Mug Back Again’ which is available to pre-order for delivery on 10th July 2020. Talk Talk - It's My LifeRegular price £17.00
Wire - Mind Hive (Limited Edition indies only)Regular price £18.00
Wire exhibit little inclination to look back - rather they remain resolutely focused on producing music which is smart, vital and defiantly modern. Mind Hive is the group’s first newly recorded material since 2017’s Silver/Lead. That album garnered rave reviews and career best sales. Yet, if Silver/Lead set the bar pretty high, Mind Hive seems to have no problem vaulting over it.

Double Black Vinyl.A two-disc retrospective of every single track released by The Television Personalities between the tail end of 1994 and 1999. Featuring legendary songwriter Dan Treacy, a gifted storyteller who places the world in his own hazy shade of focus, heading deep into introspection.
XTC - SkylarkingRegular price £16.50
Now the stuff of legend, XTC were holed up with eccentric producer Todd Rundgren for this 1986 album in which band and producer battled, sniped and argued throughout. You'd never guess listening to the more pastoral parts of the record and despite what the band think, it's a really great album. This version is the reverse polarity edition which sorted out some of the original album's sound issues. Also includes notorious US hit 'Dear God' which was inexplicably left off the original album.
Various - The Best Of Bomp Vol.1Regular price £17.00
USA Nails - Life CinemaRegular price £15.00
Dipped In Gold release a new album from everyone’s favourite noisniks the mighty USA Nails. Having spent their formative years being the most unpopular members of bands that some people liked including - Kong, Silent Front, Death Pedals, Future of the Left and Dead Arms they are now on their 4th album Life Cinema on Dipped In Gold Recordings. Life Cinema was tracked live at Bear Bites Horse in London and with the help of producer Wayne Adams, they have created a record that is raw and gritty, while still being rich with both melodic and lyrical hooks, full of absolute bangers. They rave about pointless jobs, wannabe artists, social anxiety, offices that have fridges with beer in them and Epsom. USA Nails may or may not appeal to fans of Wire, The Fall, Devo, Pissed Jeans, Wire and early Sonic Youth. Huzzah!

S*x Hands & Daily Life - Split 7"Regular price £5.00
King Crimson - Stairless & Bible BlackRegular price £17.50
For a band that favoured the presentation and honing of material in live performance prior to studio recording, it was inevitable that with the increasing portability of quality recording machines, the concert performance would, in effect, become the basis of the subsequent studio recordings. With 'Starless and Bible Black' King Crimson, reduced to a quartet following the departure of percussionist Jamie Muir, took that step. Half of the album was sourced from live gigs - much of it from a concert at the Amsterdam Concertegebouw in November 1973. (The complete concert was subsequently issued as 'The Nightwatch' album and fully detailed on 2014's 'Starless' boxed set.)
While some of the material was developed or overdubbed in the studio, other tracks were presented exactly as per the concert setting with the audience applause removed. With the band's burgeoning live reputation, increased tour schedule and commitment to improvisation, the use of the live material led to the album being the most accurate representation to date of the lineup's uniquely powerful live sets.
Kas Product - Black & Noir (Mutant Experimental Synth Punk From France 1980-83)Regular price £21.00
Soul Jazz Records are releasing a collection of lost recordings by French mutant experimental synth group Kas Product, all originally recorded in the period 1980 – 83.
Kas Product formed in 1980 in Nancy, France, as an electronic duo comprising ex-psychiatric nurse Spatsz on electronics and rhythm machines and Mona Soyoc on vocals and guitars.
Kas Product feature on Soul Jazz Records’ recent 'Punk 45 – Les Punks: The French Connection'. Mainly recorded on early tape, synth and drum machines Kas Product’s mixture of Spatsz’ hypnotic, electronic and angular hard-edged beats matched to the spiky vocals and guitar work of Soyoc led to comparisons with Suicide, Liliput/Kleenex, Cabaret Voltaire as well as to the group being forerunners of the cold wave/ synth wave movement. Perhaps closer still is the Industrial sound of bands such as Throbbing Gristle and Einsturzende Neubaten. At the start of the decade Kas Product's 'So Young But So Cold' was also the title track of a defining collection of rare underground electronic French coldwave/synthwave bands on the Tigersushi label.
